I am Ruth kakonde based in mwinilunga district northwestern. I started farming when i just thought I’d not find job in government after finishing my teaching course.

I started with maize but could not get enough profit cause of expenses. Because of my hardworking, i was called for a training by world vision organisation where they encouraged us to be planting beans organically. So far this year have planted red beans 1lima organic and 3limas as we do it to see how the yield will be.

I am really benefiting in it cause am able to pay for my siblings school fees , little for my business and for the essentials. How i wish i had enough land and plough for cultivation i could have been benefiting more.
